Our slogan for ERC 2026 is “Culture connects!”

The conference will bring together key topics that reflect the daily work of registrars, while also opening up new perspectives, fostering professional development, and creating space for meaningful international exchange among museum professionals.

The program highlights include:
strengthening and enhancing the day-to-day practice of museum professionals exploring digitalization and its growing impact on registrars’ workflows and project planning addressing the role of AI in shaping and potentially transforming registrars’ work, and examining how it can be used effectively as a practical tool to support resources and capacities

Formats

A variety of engaging formats will be offered, such as:

• oral presentations
• panel discussions
• round tables
• poster presentations
• expert corners
• speed networking

Throughout the two-day program, up to three sessions will run in parallel, featuring around 65 national and international speakers who will contribute their expertise and perspectives.
